You will need to disconnect your device from your "Find My" account before sending it in. The team at Tiptop is unable to disconnect your AirPods for you. Follow these steps to disconnect:
- Turn off the device, or put AirPods in their case.
- The device must be offline before you can remove it from the Devices list.
- Go to icloud.com/#find and sign in with your Apple ID (the same one used for iCloud)
- If you are currently using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window and select “Find My”
- Once on the Find My page, click on “All Devices” and select the AirPods device that you would like to erase.
- Click on “Erase Device” and enter your Apple ID password. If the device is not lost, there is no need to enter a phone number or message.
