You will need to erase your phone before sending it in. The team at Tiptop is unable to disconnect your phone for you. To erase, follow these steps:
- After saving your data, on your device click "Apps" then "Settings" then "Backup and reset".
- Once the new screen appears, click "Factory Data reset" then "Reset Device".
- Click "Erase Everything". Your device is now ready to be sent in.
If your device is not at your current location or is not in working order, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Google account.
- Once signed in, navigate to the "Sign In and Security" section.
- Click on "Device Activity and Notifications."
- Scroll down to find the section labeled "Recently Used Devices" and click on "Review Devices."
- Select the device you want to remove.
- Locate the "Remove" button, located to the right of "Account Access," and click on it.
- In the confirmation window that appears, choose "Remove." Please note that a second window may pop up to confirm that the access has been successfully removed.
- In your list of "Recent Devices," the device should now be displayed as removed.
