You will need to disconnect your device from your Samsung account before sending it in. The team at Tiptop is unable to disconnect your phone for you.
If you have your device with you, follow these steps to disconnect:
- Open the "Settings" menu.
- Select "Accounts and Backup".
- Click on "Accounts".
- Choose "Personal Info" then select "More Options" (three vertical dots).
- Tap on Remove Account.
- Review the information and select "Remove".
- Enter you password to confirm you identify, then choose "Ok".
- In the settings menu, locate and click "Factory Data Reset" to restore your device to its original factory setting.
If you do not have your device with you and need to log in remotely, follow these steps to disconnect:
- Sign in to your Samsung Account at https://account.samsung.com/membership/intro.
- Navigate to the "Password and Security" section.
- Verify your account password to proceed.
- Select the "Devices" option to view the list of devices currently linked to your account.
- Locate the device you want to remove and click on the "Log Out" button associated with it.
- Confirm the removal by selecting the "Confirm" button.
By following these instructions, you will successfully remove the desired device from your Samsung Account.
