Then, you’ll send your item via UPS drop off or Uber pickup to Tiptop. You’ll have 7 days to send your item in to us. We’ll assess your item quickly and confirm your payout. It will arrive in your bank account within 3 business days. That’s it. It really is the easiest way to sell anything.
What items can I sell on Tiptop?
We currently offer over 50,000 items for instant selling on Tiptop. We’re constantly expanding our catalog to include more categories and more items, so we can become the first place you go
How do I ship my item to Tiptop?
Package your item and drop it off at any UPS location. Just present the provided QR code. You can also print a label if you’d like from your Tiptop Dashboard.
Or, you can choose to schedule an Uber courier pickup at a time and date of your convenience. Just package your item but leave the package un-sealed. An Uber driver will arrive, take a picture of your item to verify it and send it on to Tiptop.
Both options are free.
How should I package my item?
If you select UPS drop off, package your item securely with packing material and a protective box. Seal it and bring your QR code or attach the provided label.
If you select Uber Scheduled Pickup, package your item well but do not seal the package. Your driver will take a picture when they pick it up to verify its contents.
When will I receive payment for my item?
Your item’s value will be paid out to the method of your choice within 3 days of Tiptop receiving it. We will assess your item and confirm the quote we gave you and then you’ll get a payment via debit or bank transfer.
How do Tiptop Referral codes work?
If you use a referral link or code from a friend, Tiptop will add a bonus value to your next sale. That value will be automatically applied and you will see it at your final checkout. If you have a code shared directly to you, you'll be able to enter it at checkout to redeem your bonus.
You can redeem the $25 Tiptop bonus once from any shared code. But, remember, you'll get your own code to share when you complete a sale with Tiptop.
Then, every time a friend uses your code to complete a sale on Tiptop, sends their device and gets paid out, you'll get a bonus on your next sale with Tiptop. Yes, you will get $25 every time a friend completes a sale, so share away!
What if my item is assessed for a different price, or I sent the wrong item?
We will assess your item and confirm the quote we gave you and then you’ll get a payment via debit or bank transfer, but if your item is not functional, has an issue or is not the product that we quoted, we will send you an email with a new offer. If you accept the offer, we’ll get you paid out. If you reject the new offer, we’ll send your item back to you.
What if I don’t send in my trade-in on time?
Because Tiptop uses live pricing algorithms to determine the value of the items in our catalog, you have 7 days to send your item to Tiptop to receive your quoted price. If you send your item after the 7 day period, it will be automatically re-priced and we will send you a new offer to accept.
